Stay n' Study

Intake numbers are rising. Return rates are climbing.  The dogs available for adoption are sitting for months, sometimes years. Longer wait times lead to kennel stress which only reduces a dog's adoptability.  Few municipal shelters and private rescue groups have a full-time behavior specialist to address these concerns on-site.  By partnering with shelter and rescue groups throughout the United States, our primary goal is to boost awareness of these amazing dogs, while reducing intake & return rates.  This program brings shelter and rescue dogs into their trainer's home, giving them a more realistic approach to acclimating into their Forever Homes.

The Stay n' Study program is an all-inclusive 2, 3, and 4-week board & train system that provides custom behavior support and a foundation of the Five Core Cues: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Place. During their stay, dogs will be given the opportunity to socialize in small groups with similar style players. For more selective dogs, we provide opportunities to briefly socialize while having ample downtime to process and decompress.
